gTasks - for Google Tasks App Reviews
I use it on my mac & iphone. Primarily I use it on my mac and whenever I open it with my iPhone old lists overwrite. I would give 5 stars if those syncing problem is resolved.
It’s a nice app and works well. Would have gotten a lot more stars. One thing frustrates me though. The free version does not let you even add tasks and paying $13 is a bit too much if I only need to add tasks.
Need simple shortcut
If it has simple shortcut key function to add and move, it can be perfect.
I like this app very much but I need 2 more features: 1. One task could be assign to several categories. 2. than i can set a filer using particular set of categories to create a filtered view. For examle: task „pay invoice” can be in category finance and tomorrow so i can set a view to display tasks from finance area to be done tomorrow.
It’s hard to find an app that syncs with Google Tasks. This does a great job. Simple interface. Integration with Notifications Center. I would have given it 4 stars if it had a keyboard shortcut feature.
I have been using gTasks for years now and I love it. It is easy to use and allows me to organize Do Items (especially ones that will not be completed today, or even for months to come) in a simple way.
I didnt realize the basic creation of tasks was something only "Professionals" do. Thanks for wasting my time looking at this. If sync to google were to cost extra, but basic cost creation were in the free/basic version, Id understand. Shows no class ot offer a free version that doesnt allow you to do anything. Will not be giving this developer my money.
Wanted a desktop companion to my phone app I have been using. This does what I needed, but seems like there is a lot of room for added functionality compared to the phone app especially for the $10 price.
It is NOT FREE. There’s an unknown trial period they don’t make clear to you. After a few days using it, you open it to find out that you can no longer create or edit tasks without buying the pro version. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL way to do it!
gTasks is a great option for people who like simple, easy to use task management. App keeps your focus on the tasks without the additional fluff that some task managers include. Interface is clean, and you don’t have to guess what to do or watch tutorials to figure things out. Recommended...
Simple job: just keep track of my daily tasks. You’d think there would be hundreds of apps for that, but there is not. Previous apps all turned buggy over time. This one is new for me, but thus far works well.

Good App for gTasks!
This app is a good alternative to the native Google tasks app, which for whatever reason will not allow sorting by title, a most annoying lack of the basics on the part of Google.

Great Task Manager
GTasks is everything Google Tasks should be — faster, easier to organize, and with a much better interface. I love how quickly I can add tasks, drag and drop to reorder, and set recurring reminders. The color-coded lists and ability to hide completed tasks keep everything clean and focused. Sync is smooth and reliable — a must-have productivity app.
Excellent integration
I use gTasks with Reclaim.ai. It’s a great way to stay on top of your calendar and tasks.
Won’t sync to my google account
I signed in and let it sync for about 2 hours for the 6 to do tasks I have in my google to do list. If it can’t sync 6 tasks in 2 hours it’s useless.
Not bad integration
Was expecting bugs and not working but fairly happy with it. Would like to have more options on the way the to do looks but for now this will do.

I am using it and so far it is simple and easy to manage different major goals. synchronizing with gTasks is good but it's not a seamless mirroring to say it in a way.

Limited app and use
The concept of seeing your Google Tasks and sync with Mac sound good, BUT... 1. You can only create and see tasks that sync with your google AFTER you pay for the pro. 2.Notifications in the Notification Center on my mac provides no value. Can't see tasks..just icon to open the app...what's the point in that. 3. No calendar syncronization so you can't see scheduled or upcoming/over due task in calendar. If you just want to create tasks and view later in other devicses in your google acct then maybe worth the upgrade, otherwise, stay away from this app.

Even though Google should have this be a free feature for the Mac. this is a good alternative,
Easy to use
Easy to use and integrates with all my devices. I can create a task with or without due dates or times. The tasks show up on my calendars.
organizes my life
I tried using more robust systems to stay on track but never could beat the simplicity of Google Tasks. gTasks is just Google Tasks on steriods. So simple and effective.

Bait and switch
you pay the 5.99... then all of sudden you need the 9.99 version. also as other users have pointed out. their are serious challeneges with this. while it is promising. you will have to pay for the idea it will come around.. me? I ponied up for the first pmt... but no more. had it just been the 9.99 out of the gate? perhaps. but all this buy now.. Oh wait you have to poay more bit? NO THANKS..

Great productivity app
I have been using the app for a number of year and find it incredibly easy to use. It works well in both on my laptop and my cell phone. I highly recommend it to anyone who need to keep lots of tasks in front of them!
Mostly Exactly What I Needed for Chores
I needed an app for chores, especially those on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc. basis. At first I was annoyed that I couldn't look ahead at upcoming items, but I finally discovered that you can see them on the Google Calendar app. Whew!

Great team play!
This app is the perfect complement to the Google Task apps for the iPhone and the iPad. It makes task management whole. gTasks immediately shows any new input or edit made on either mobile device and vice versa.

Best app for handling Google Tasks
Simplifies sub tasks. Easy to reorder items. I use it on my iphone and work macbook computer. Wish there was a browser or PC version, because my main computer is a PC.

I've tried so many productivity apps, and this one is by far the best. Not only is it extremely user friendly, there are so many small details that make this the perfect task mgt app. I love the wiget and also the ability to see all my different calendars and tasks in the same place. In the past I would have to check a couple different apps or find creative ways to keep track of everything.
Pointless
Doesn't work without paying. Useless. Only done so it can be listed as a "Free app".
Forces Pro Version only after a few clicks
I cannot even evaluate the app because I wasn't able to use it after a few clicks. I have no idea how well this application would work because I didn't get a chance to actually use it. At the very least they could allow full use for one day or even an hour. A few clicks it stupid. Uninstalled.
Helpful Tool
After lots of trial and error with my task list on Google Calendar and wanting to be able to print my list, I found that this app made it possible after "googling" lots of possible solutions.
